Right from the Start is a newly formed marriage and family initiative in 
                              Columbus, Georgia dedicated to building strong marriages and families.  
                              This initiative seeks to:

                              • Lower the divorce rate 
                              • Lower the rate of out-of-wedlock pregnancies  
                              • Increase father involvement in the lives of children in Muscogee County

                              Right from the Start will provide relationship skill-building education and 
                              serve as a resource for those who work with families in the latest research 
                              and curricula on healthy marriages and families.  Through a community-wide 
                              marketing campaign, Right from the Start will also educate the public about 
                              the importance of strong marriages and families. 

                              Right from the Start is a community resource that collaborates with and 
                              is supported by a broad cross-section of community organizations, groups 
                              and individuals.  The Pastoral Institute, New Horizons, NeighborWorks, 
                              The Family Center and Enrichment Services Program are community 
                              partners in this initiative.
