All Pro Dad Breakfast

Due to COVID-19, our All Pro Dad clubs are not holding their regular in-person meetings.

Become a hero in your child’s life by joining us at our FREE All Pro Dad meetings.

Once a month share breakfast with your child(ren) and learn how to have a closer relationship with them.

It’s fast, fun and shows your kid(s) that spending quality time with them is a joy! Grandparents and other family members are always welcome to join in.

Fall and Spring events are offered at a nominal cost to all attendees.

Days & Times:

1st Wednesday of the month – St. Luke from 7:10 – 8:05 a.m.
3rd Thursday of the month –

  • Clubview Elementary – Meet at Richards Middle School gym from 7-7:45 a.m.
  • Blackmon Rd. Middle School – Meet in the Middle School media center from 7-7:45 a.m.

1st Friday of the month – Aaron Cohn Middle School at Midland Chick-fil-a from 7:15 – 8:05 a.m.
2nd Friday of the month – Matthews Elementary Social Media Center from 7-7:45 a.m.
3rd Friday of the month – Britt David Magnet Academy- Elementary at Bojangles on Airport Thruway from 7-7:45 a.m.

4th Friday of the month –

  • Midland Academy from 7-7:45am
  • Reese Road Elementary  in the Media Center from 7-7:45am

All Pro Dad Volunteers Needed

  • School administrators willing to partner with Right from the Start to identify volunteers who will initiate and maintain All Pro Dad chapters at your schools; provide meeting space and support as needed.
  • All Pro Dad chapter leaders to start and maintain school chapter connections with the All Pro Dad program, facilitate monthly chapter meetings, and communicate with school dads. Serve as a liaison between school administrators and APD.
  • Administrative volunteers to contact parents at each school chapter and maintain the list of chapter members on the All Pro Dad Chapter website. This person will make calls, email, text, and post social media announcements about meetings. After every meeting, this volunteer will update contacts with new names and submit to APD.
  • Volunteers to pick up food from local restaurants or grocery stores for monthly in-person chapter meetings and serve APD participants.
  • Chapter photographers to take pictures and video of events and post them to social media or become chapter historians.
  • Chapter events coordinators who will help chapter leaders plan and hold dad/child events outside of APD chapter meetings; i.e., golf outings, scavenger hunts, escape rooms, exercise events, movie nights, bowling etc.
  • Chapter greeters/hosts who will attend meetings and make sure seating is sufficient and properly arranged for monthly meetings held in restaurants or other non-school settings.
  • Online meeting facilitators who will schedule and facilitate chapter meetings using web-based software when in-person meetings are not possible.

Couples Coaching

For Engaged and Married Couples

We take marriage preparation and marriage education seriously, and we hope you do, too. That’s why we’ve developed Couples Coaching!

In Couples Coaching, you will each take an online assessment that covers a full range of issues that are relevant to marriage and to the critical skill-sets needed to join two sets of personality dynamics. By taking this assessment, you begin your adventure into establishing a rich, healthy and robust union. The individualized assessment will look at each person’s personality strengths/weaknesses, views on marriage, conflict management styles, values, and more dimensions that have an effect on your relationship. We will follow up your assessment with an hour of relationship coaching that will help you open the door for further discussion of your areas of strength and your areas of potential challenge. It is our goal to make this a positive, insightful and exciting hour spent together as a couple!

Couples Coaching makes a great gift!  One of the best gifts parents can give their engaged children or grandchildren is an opportunity to learn how to establish a loving and committed marriage.

2) Each person will receive an email that will include a code to take the 30-40 minute assessment.
3) Complete the assessment.
4) We will receive the results and will contact you to set up your Couples Coaching session. A Right from the Start Relationship Coach will unpack the results with you.

IDK | Starting the Conversation

Starting the conversation about sexuality is oftentimes awkward for both child and parent.  For the child:  I Don’t Know what’s going on with my body.  For the parent:  I Don’t Know where to begin talking with my child about sex.

IDK is a class that sets the stage for beginning the conversation that many parents struggle with. This class teaches the basics about body changes that occur during puberty along with the facts about sexual reproduction.

Our trained instructor presents this sensitive information in a safe environment in same-gender classes (a boy IDK class and a girl IDK class) where one parent attends with the child.  The child and parent learn together that this conversation is not a one-time event but rather an on-going conversation that the two will engage in throughout the child’s development into young adulthood and beyond.

The recommended minimum age for this class, in which we present simple and straight-forward information in a caring and concerned manner, is 5th grade girls and 6th grade boys.
